Just pulled the trigger and submitted KudoGram to the app store. Hopefully I have a smooth review process and can release early next week.I thought I would talk a bit about why I'm making this app. Yes, there's the obvious part about it being a great idea, but there's a more personal reason.

When I was much younger I had a pretty menial job. I'm not going to go into the details of my employer, but I overheard one of my bosses telling a friend something to the effect of:
"I just don't understand why employees want to be told that they're doing a good job. They're getting a paycheck, that should tell them that they're doing their job."Almost 20 years later, this still blows my mind. People thrive on encouragement. There's a saying "We live by encouragement; we die without it, slowly, sadly, and angrily." According to brainy quote, it was first said by Celeste Holm.
I really believe that people need more encouragement. If I can make a little app and cause a little more encouragement and recognition in the world, then I figure I'm doing a good thing.
I put up a little site for KudoGram at http://spqrsoft.com/kudogram/. It's pretty much the same content that will be on the app store page once that goes live.
